Privacy Policy

At Granode Materials AB we care about the privacy of your data and we are committed to protecting it and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you and why, what we do with that information, and the management of it. We also explain what choices you have with respect to the information.

This policy applies to job applicants, suppliers, customers, visitors and partners in collaborations. This policy applies to relevant data received and processed, whether automated or not. Data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data and data concerning health or a person’s sex life or sexual orientation is not collected.

What data we collect, why and where it is stored

If you are a current or potential future customer, supplier or partner we collect contact information, such as name, company information, e-mail and phone number. We store the information as pdf or office documents in the cloud (currently OneDrive). In case of an agreement being signed, information may also be stored in our financial system and on paper. The purpose is to enable communications, invite to events, marketing (such as Newsletter) and to fulfill agreements or law.

If you are a job applicant we store contact information, such as name, CV, social security number (or equivalent), email, home address and phone number. We store the information as pdf or office documents in the cloud (currently OneDrive). The purpose is to be able to manage the application process, such as enable communication and/or provide and collect necessary information to/from state agencies (e.g. the public employment service and the police).

If you are a visitor we collect contact information, such as name, company information, e-mail and phone number. We may also collect social security number (or equivalent). We store information as pdf or office documents in the cloud (currently OneDrive). The purpose is to enable communication, invite to events, marketing, and to run security checks if judged needed.

The relevant data collected is used for commercial collaborations and for our internal use and will be managed by our own staff. The information will not be sold, nor supplied to third parties or be used in other ways than stated, above.

Time of storing data

If the relation between you and Granode Materials is dormant for five years,
all data will be deleted. If commercial agreements or law requires a longer
period of storage, the period of data storage will be prolonged accordingly.

Our IT systems

Our IT systems Our IT systems are secure. Routines for keeping your data safe are in place. We have a policy for handling emails which is based on the principle of minimizing transmission of relevant personal data.

Cookies

Granode Materials uses cookies or similar technologies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. They contain no personal information but are helpful to provide you with a better user experience the next time you visit. Cookies also provides us with statistics, used to further improve the web site.

Your Rights

You have the right to be informed of what data Granode Materials has stored about you and in some cases limit the handling and storage of your data and get access and correct data if wrong or invalid. You have the right to object to our handling and storing the data. Under certain circumstances you may request the data to be deleted. Information could, for example, need to be stored due to agreements or law.
